The Annual Chinese New Year's Reception was held on 19 February 2019 at Tangla Hotel Brussels, in celebration of the Year of the Pig. The reception was jointly organized by the Belgium Hong Kong Society (BHKS) and the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Brussels, with the support of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council.
Over 350 guests from the Belgian government and the European Union institutions, reprensentatives from business sector, local Hong Kong community and members of BHKS joined the reception.
A group of Hong Kong young musical talents, CY Leo Electronic Trio, comprising a harmonica virtuoso, a pianist and an electronic musician, was invited to perform at the reception.
